When
you're five and six, learning and growing can be lots of fun. As a pippin, you
meet with friends from different schools and places. You have
grown up leaders who show you how to do lots of interesting things, like:
- sing and make music
- listen to stories
- make things
- go
to interesting places
- learn about guides around the world
- discover
nature
- play games.
Any girl can join pippins, and we
like you to bring a family member, your mother, father, grandmother or extended
family member once a term so they can help with the programme and join in the
fun. Pippins wear a simple uniform that fits over normal clothes.
It is easy to wear and great for patches, badges and storing things. Here
are some of the patches and badges you can get when you are a pippin.
