As
a brownie, you work in a team with other girls called a six and are part of a
group called a unit. There are all sorts of special things you can try together
with the others. While you keep up with the fun and the action, you learn new
skills which help you grow and become part of a great group. Gaining badges
is a real challenge and lots of fun, all you need to do is join in, do your best
and enjoy what you do. You can do some of the activities at home or in your six,
or unit. Heres some of the things you can do: These cover a huge variety of activities on different themes
- you or your group might like to try some of these fun activities indoors or
out. Each theme has 20 activities. When youve done six activities
from a theme, you get a sticker to put on a special certificate, which you will
have already chosen. When youve done four themes you get to choose a theme
badge to sew on your sash. Some theme programmes are - Act Up, Jumps and Bumps,
Drips and Drops, Holes, Rainbows. The badges are awesome, check them out...
Camps
are fun times when your leader takes your unit away somewhere for one or more
nights. You sometimes stay indoors or you may camp in tents and learn heaps of
cool stuff about the great outdoors. You can earn these neat camp badges.
